Gui Le Blanc is a sewer worker in Minneapolis. He first became aware
of Samuel Tyldsley when someone threw a copy of Out of Tune into
a manhole where it struck Mr. Le Blanc on the head.
While recovering in the hospital, Gui had time to read the book and soon
became very interested in Samuel Tyldsley. This interest led him beyond
Tyldsley's published works to the private libraries of Tyldsley's closest
friends and business associates. There he learned all he could of
Tyldsley before he returned to the sewer, where he was soon hit by a copy
of Alvin Greschler's,
The Complete Works of Samuel Tyldsley.
Mr. Le Blanc felt this volume was incomplete, in spite of its title, and
decided to collect the overlooked writings into a volume of his own.
Other published works by R. Gui Le Blanc include only some sporadic, single-page
pieces published in periodicals and "Poems from a Janitor" which can be
found here.
